I have for sale the last mail pouch barn ever painter by Harley Warrick of Belmont County, the mail pouch barn painter. Harley retired in 1991 after over 50 years and 20,000 barns painted.Today, about 2,000 Mail Pouch barns still exist He died in 2000.
After he retired I had him paint for me "the LAST" mail pouch barn he ever painted [not repaint] He painted it at his home in the basement. The barn sign was painter in 1998 and is signed and dated.
It is on 5 sheets of ton and grove outdoor barn siding plywood, each sheet is a full 4ft by 8 ft. The total sign is 8 ft tall and 20 ft. long. It would be perfect for a large family room.
This barn has been in the papers, has had post cards, calendars, pics, and paintings that are it art shows as well as gift shops.
